No promotion for you!

Well I didn't get the new job at the software company... Turns out I wasn't sexy enough. I'll make sure to be extra sexy next time.

Wrote a new tune... Eug and I are working on some new stuff this week and it should be killer.

Going to Cochrane this weekend to visit some family. I haven't been on a road trip for several months, so I'm looking forward to getting away from it all for the weekend.

Since January 1st or so, I've lost 12 pounds from cutting out the pop. No Pepsi or Coke whatsoever. No pop at all. I had a small slurpee. Other than that, I've been drinking water every day and the odd orange juice or iced tea. I've also been avoiding going back for a full plate of seconds. Those 2 changed have been relatively easy, and my weight is just sliding away without any effort. I'm not exercising very much either. Not at all really. I've got some nice tech support arms.

Anyway, Happy Groundhog's Day.

And to all those who feel like they should've got a promotion, but didn't, I now know what your pain feels like. It feels like a kick in the teeth.
