People keep telling me to audition for these things and I keep saying "Never in a million years."
Maybe "Beer Idol" or "Martini Star" or "So You Think You Can Home-Brew".

Come on, you don't want to enter a popularity contest and be criticized and picked apart on national television? What's the matter with you?!
I think there is a demand to fit the mold on those shows which can damage an artist if he/she sells out to try to make it to the end of the competition. Real artists don't need to win a contest to succeed.
That's my opinion, and with that said, I don't know anything about you, aside from what I've read in your blog ... but I do own a MSO CD...
