MSO OFFICIAL STREET TEAM STARTS TODAY!

Well, the time has come for us to officially ask for help. But the cool thing is, it comes with perks!

We want to spread MSO music to the world, and it starts with you. The job is simple, the rewards are few, but rewarding in that "taking care of a sick dog" sort of way.

OFFICIAL PERKS!

You'll get access to exclusive "Street Team Only" band photos and merch, as well as access to new songs/downloads before people on the main mailing list/MySpace/the general public, etc... This will mean hearing some rough sounding demos and seeing some goofy vlogs sometimes as well. Essentially, you be more in the loop about what's going on with us than we are. We'll even sometimes provide you with posters to put up (if available) in exchange for free admission to shows and/or merch. We will also be providing show-specific assignments, and if you succeed, the rewards will be anything from free admission, free merch, backstage access, or gift certificates at places like Funky Pickle, Olive Garden, Megatunes, etc... Just signing up doesn't get you anything quite yet... you need to complete one assignment to get into the perks club.

If you would like to be an Official Member of the My Sister Ocean Street Team (we're also accepting submissions to name it), then email mso@mysisterocean.com and let us know these vitals:

Your name.
Email address.
Location: City and area of town.
Age. (or Age Range 12-18, 18-25, 26-35, 35+)
MySpace URL if you have one.
Duties willing to perform: ie, postering, handing out handbills, phoning all your friends, requesting our songs on the radio, etc... Any ideas welcome as well!

Our 1st priority is bodies at the shows. A full house equals a happy crowd, happy band, and happy club. A happy club means we'll be invited back with better bands, meaning better shows, and happier crowds, and happier clubs... eventually the clubs may become happier arenas, and eventually, happier stadiums!

Our 2nd priority is CD sales at our shows, in stores, and online. More CD sales means more money for us to make more albums! If we sell enough CDs as an indie band, we'll never need to sign to a label. That would be ideal.

We have a show coming up in 3 days on November 29th at the Urban Lounge, and another one on December 16th at the Velvet Underground. If you'd like your first assignment, sign up for the team!
