Lots of stuff is basically "pending" right now!
Our single was sent to rock radio stations across Canada Tuesday (digitally), so now we just play the waiting game... see who likes it, who adds it, who doesn't, etc... Time to let the music do the work. The company that does the uploads was very impressed by the track, which I took as a major compliment considering they're uploading major label singles every day. It's 4 and half minutes, which some MDs (music directors) might not like, but it's a solid track. Smells Like Teen Spirit is around the same length, and that was Nirvana's "breakout single", so it's got a shot.
We're waiting to see how a few things go down in Canadian Music Week and have set up some meetings. We're playing the showcase on the 9th, and going to a few seminars. Haydain Neale from Jacksoul is hosting our showcase, so that's cool!
