MSO takes part in Kokanee Freeride 2008
My Sister Ocean is playing in the Kokanee Freeride finals on Wednesday March 26th.
As you may/may not know/remember.... MSO won the contest last year.
This time, the competition is even more fierce! We won the opportunity to move forward last week on March 19th in Round 1.
Regardless of the outcome this year, I'm looking forward to seeing the other bands in the finals and am happy to be a part of the event.
We were reviewed in the journal on thursday for the time... (well, our CD has been reviewed before, but our love show has NEVER been reviewed...)

Quick little jaunt through the prairies this week...
Eug and I are off to Winnipeg and Regina for 2 back to back shows. Looking forward to doing the drive to Winnipeg since it's been about 7-8 years since my last time.
My Sister Ocean is playing at Dylan O'Connor's in Winnipeg on Thursday and The Gaslight in Regina on Friday.
Followed the next week in Edmonton at The Velvet Underground on Tuesday the 26th. Then, March 4th in Calgary at Vern's.
I have a video to upload from our last show (new song) but might not get a chance to do it before heading tomorrow at 6am.
Blogs have been fewer lately from everyone - could the blogging trend be dying as was predicted last year?
