Whoa! I guess I could've burned the kitchen down...

Long story short.

I've been inspired to try some new recipes lately.

I had some bananas laying around and some Jack Daniels I got for my birthday... I thought I'd try fried bananas with jack daniels. i asked shanda if i just turned up the heat to do a reduction, and she said "no, i think you have to do a flambé"... i thought "oh yeah" and I asked her to get the camera out to capture my first flambé at home...
