Now on Facebook!

Well, I've succumbed to the call of yet another social networking site. I'm sure I'll spend/waste hours tweaking settings, etc, only to get drawn to another time-waster in about a year.

Between this blog, the MSO MySpace blog, the MSO MySpace account, my personal MySpace account, the Brass and Mud records MySpace account, the mso email address, my main email address, my shared email address with my wife, and now facebook, there is plenty of opportunity to lose hours a day if I'm not careful, which I am being, which is why it annoys me to join yet another site.

That said, Facebook is pretty good. I wish I could consolidate all my contacts through Facebook and never touch email again. Impossible though! Eveyone I know would have to join facebook. Cool features though. Photo tagging and timeline details are enjoyable. Status updates as well. I've already learned a lot about some of my closest friends just from the details it allows. Better than MySpace in that regard. But, MySpace is better for bands. So I guess if I wasn't in a band, I'd be exlusively on Facebook from now on. But that's not the case.

Eugie and I are stoked for the weekend.

Saturday night, Jasper: The Atha B with Apache Rose, $5 or free (not sure)
Sunday afternoon 1pm, Jasper: Marmot Basin Kokanee Freeride, Lower Chalet, free with purchase of lift ticket ($50 or so?)
